At least we made it this far

I'm so tired of the phone, baby, I don't like the tone

The way we say I love you, a thousand times
We say those words
But we can't look into each others eyes

Oh and I guess we made it or at least we made it this far
And it all looks smooth from here
Oh, in a future day there may be ways
But I must say the skies have never looked so clear
Oh and I guess we made it 'cause it ain't far to go from here

I'm so tired of the road, baby driving through the snow
Just may be you'll sit back, think about the times
When we said those words
And we looked into each other eyes

Oh and I guess we made it or at least we made it this far
And it all looks smooth from here

Oh, in a future day there may be waves
But I must say the skies have never looked so clear
Oh and I guess we made it 'cause it ain't far to go from here

You have given me a heart attack, you'll never know
What it's like to have to face the fact you might let go
Now I won't stand for any thought of that, heavens no
'Cause I will cling to you and always have a stronger hold

Oh and I guess we made it or at least we made it this far
And it all looks smooth from here
Oh, in a future day there may be waves
But I must say the skies have never looked so clear to me baby
Oh and I guess we made it 'cause it ain't far to go from here

Let's just say one part of my life is going swell...

...BUT, life has been difficult for me the past couple weeks. So many things on my mind, that I have literally no one to talk to about. I'm so freakin' homesick and I can't say a thing about it in fear of being the negative, crybaby I was 4 months ago. Trying to find my place here is just too hard. I can't tell you how many times in the past WEEK I've felt so unworthy. Like a big let down is all I was. I'm literally living my life in fear all over again for so many reasons. BUT I'm not even going to give you the whole "hope" crap speech again, because I don't even feel like listening to it. All I can say is that I hope everyone is doing better than me, and I'll be back home in Louisiana in almost less than 3 months and I am fuhreaking out.

Oh, and this stupid oil crisis in Africa and the middle east needs to stop so Melissa Gardner and Mkay Braud will have enough gas to go creeping with me.

Love & Creep,
Jess
