I lost my LA virginity

No, no. Not French. I lost my Los Angeles virginity. It was about darn time, too. I've lived here for months and haven't experienced like any cliche' Californian pastimes. Going there was one of the most exhilerating things. Taking a train, which was my first time doing so, was awesome. I loved the culture, hearing people's languages, and hearing about what's important in their cultures. One of the best things about the trip was the people I shared it with. It was a strange jumble of people, if I do say so myself. From the juniors, to the seniors, to the foreigners. It was awesommmmeeeeeeee.

Top 5, maybe even 3 and a half, days of my life.

The highlight was when our history teacher took us on a personal tour to downtown LA. Seriously, it was like another world. I don't think people give our teacher the credit he deserves for the knowledge he has about people, places, and things... nouns... anyway. I wish I could do it all the time.

The only thing I didn't get to experience, which totally bummed me out: The Hollywood sign! The generic franchise piece of California! The next trip down there, that's the first place I'm going.

Aside from losing my LA V-card, the superbowl is today. Since the Saints aren't in it, I frankly, do not care. But my brother Joshuah is going for the Steelers so I'm hopping on the Pittsburgh bandwagon.

I'm still not sure if people will read this, so I'm hestitant to use the word everybody while signing off. So I'll just do this:

You, the beautiful incredible amazing human being who is reading this, have a nice Sunday.

Love & Creep,
Jess
